Thank you so much for taking the initiative to include your neighbors and adjoining community members in this process. Box Canyon Park, in particular, is special because it was community designed and built. I believe that park should include as many suggestions from the neighbors as possible.
The City has posted conceptual drawings on their web site, based on the input received from the community. You have the ability to view their drawings and vote on which design option you prefer.
Go to: http://www.ci.yorba-linda.ca.us/government/departments/parksandrecreation.php
I am excited about the possibilities and look forward to seeing the plans develop as they progress through the Parks and Recreation Commission with continued and extensive community outreach.

Dear Jan,
I attended the April 16th meeting and was pleased to hear that the city is now moving forward quickly on the healing process for our community. Knowing that many people may not have attended due to the meeting being held during spring break, I conducted a survey that received response from 174 Bryant Ranch families. I would ask that your support in finalizing approval for the reconstruction that consideration be given to including items in that survey submitted to the Parks and Rec department May 1st-3 that were listed as a high priority by residents. If the council would like a copy of the final results to see comments by the community and all results you can reach me at the above e-mail.

Sincerely,
Caroline Johnson

Top requests from 174 surveys:
125 -keep original fort/castle theme, 125 please add a wall for new tiles in addition to old wall restoration (115 would purchase if offered), 109 maze area, 109 suspension bridge, 103 central hide and seek "cave" area, 138 spiral slide, 120 tire swing, 122 mini trampoline/bounce pad, 95 cargo net climber, 106 hang on slider, 106 free standing climbing wall, 99 spinners (as at Bryant Park), 111 "tarzan" style swings, 102 see-saw. Unfortunately regular swings were left off the survey, but are desired by verbal requests from many.
