Thanks for all you do!

Upon the suggestion of a Yorba Linda resident, I am creating a new blog to recognize good deeds done within our community. This is your opportunity to recognize someone for acts of selflessness, accomplishment, service and/or dedication to a person or our community. As one person said, ” There is too much negativity in this world and too many times good deeds go unrecognized.” Lets change that in Yorba Linda!

Home Depot gave out free sand bags and had 5-6 guys working in the pouring rain filling them up and helping load them into our cars. If the city ever recognizes any local businesses I would like to suggest that you consider recognizing Home Depot for their community support.
I am not associated with anyone from there, I am just a 60 yr old woman that needed sand bags yesterday and was extremely appreciative of Home Depot and their crew and thought it would be nice to maybe be able to show them our communities appreciation somehow.
Thank you,
Judy Marino

Too often, good deeds go unnoticed. Too often good suggestions and constructive criticisms fall on deaf ears. What a pleasant surprise to see this column appear on your web site. Thank you.
