It has been suggested this email newsletter deserves a better name. So, I am asking you for suggestions. Email your ideas for a new name for my e-newsletter. A yet un-named panel of unbiased individuals will select a name for this periodical and the winner will be invited to lunch with yours truly! is that your news letter you are talking about?
what would be interesting is that those in the community have something to say about the community, positive or negative, unfarnish publish in a website……of course under those circumstances I probably have lots of negative things to say.
but on the other had others could challenge those thoughts also.
that is somewhat like a City of Yorba Linda chat-room
But that might be good for some council member who relunctunt to voice opinions on tough or un- popular issues.
I think anything we can do to spur more open communciation is great, especially if we can get new voices involved, instead of the same old rethoric we as residents often hear. We have a lot of opportunity for positive growth and enhancements in Yorba Linda, I hope more residents get involved with fresh ideas , new questions and suggestions. Some names for the news letter: Yorba Linda Info Express, Eye Spy Yorba Linda, Eye on Yorba Linda. We have a lot of creative people in our community, I know you will get some great suggestions . If I think of any other names, I will send them your way. Thanks for asking Jan. Pat W.
O.K., let me preface by saying I’m in no way serious about this, but I could help but think that “Horton Hears A Who, What, Where, When and Why” would be a cute name for your newsletter, Jan!
Oops, meant to say “couldn’t”!
What is that saying “Give Honor to Whom Honor is due”, well I think of what a better name than given that to our city by calling it:
“Yorba Linda Gracious City News” or “Yorba Linda – City of the Gracious Living News”. Just a grateful citizen!
Well, the tagline for YL is “The land of Gracious Living”, so it’s fitting for the news to be called “The News of Gracious Yorba Linda”, or “Gracious News of Yorba Linda” or similar, you get the idea.
Jan’s Noteworthy News….
or Jan Horton’s Noteworthy News…
I enjoy the newsletter. My suggestion for a name is “YL About Town”.
